About Department of Hindi: 

  Hindi is our National and Official language. Hindi is not only the mother tongue of the majority of Indians but is also used by the Central Government as an official language. A large amount of literature is available in Hindi which is rich in knowledge and can give a lot of information to the new generation regarding Indian Culture, History and Values of life. At present the importance of Hindi Language has increased tremendously. There are various employment opportunities for a degree holder in Hindi such as jobs of Hindi Officer and Translator in Government Offices, Banks, and LIC etc. In today’s world of Globalization and Commercialization Hindi language has its own importance at International level.

                   The Department of Hindi was started at general level with the inception of the college in the year 2012. Two well qualified full time faculty members are working in the department. Besides this they have completed the Faculty induction program. Every year the department organizes Hindi day on 14th September. On this occasion the department conducts various activities such as Essay Writing, Poetry Recitation, Elocution, Poster Making, Poster Presentation Competition .

Undergraduate Course: 

Program Outcomes

The Hindi department of Government Science College Pandhurna  has always been committed to the ‘substantial’ development of students. Under the Hindi department, in the college, undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available, the purpose of which is to advance literature, history and the ways of society among the students. Apart from this, the Hindi curriculum has also contributed to the multi-faceted development of students.

 

Program Specific Outcomes

The department has been organising literary competitions such as debates, extempore speech, poetry writing, etc. which plays a vital role in the enhancement of the literary talent in students.

 In addition, the department invites experts and litterateurs associated with the courses for enhancement of the knowledge and experience of the students. The Dramatic Society of the college works for the upliftment students and also promotes art forms like drama and street plays. Many of our students benefit from this society. Professors of the Department, specialising in various disciplines of Hindi literature, are constantly contributing to the multidimensional development of students

 

Course Outcomes

Through the B.A Hindi and the M.A Hindi courses, the students are able to

  • Understand the Hindi literature, which will help them in being creative, write prose, poetry, plays and also develop their critical acumen.

  • Know the relationship between literature and society & one affects the other directly or indirectly

  • Establish themselves in the field of mass communication, social media, advertisement making, drama, translation, and official Hindi etc

  • Demonstrate Hindi language as an international language




Program Specific Outcomes B.A. (Hindi)

On completion of B.A (Hindi), Students are able to:

1. To understand the basic concept and subject of Hindi & its origin

2. To make or not the importance of subject Hindi & its Branches.

3. To understand various aspect of Hindi literature with a process to reach method and giving

new mode and direction.

4. To make a attempt in different area and theory such as vocabulary and vice versa

5. To understand in the Literature more in a border area then Mary confined to subject.

6. To know about Hindi literature its roots cause perspectives and methods.

7. Elaborating and understanding its philosophical methods of Hindi Literature.

8. Evaluating the concept of Hindi from past to present and making the society more closely

through literature.

Paper Name:-Functional Hindi

On completion of the course, students are able to

1.To be able to Understand the meaning, concept and importance of Functional Hindi.

2. To be able to understand various forms of Functional Hindi according to its area of application

3. To be able to understand the importance of translation

4. To be able to understand various forms of writing in media

 

5. To be able to understand various forms of Functional Hindi language relating to the internet.

6. To be able to understand the use of Functional Hindi language for newspaper, cinema and radio.

7. To be able to understand the concept of Right to information.

8. To be able to understand the concept of fundamental rights of the Indian Constitution.

 

Paper 1- Name:-History of Hindi literature

On completion of the course, students are able to

1. To be able to understand the origin of Hindi language and its literature.

2. To be able to understand Identifying the dialects of the Hindi language family.

3. To be able to Analyse the development of Khariboli Hindi.

4. To be able to understand the concept of history of literature.

 

Paper -2  Name:-History of Hindi literature

On completion of the course, students are able to

1. To be able to understand the basis of the classification of Hindi literature.

2. To be able to understand the importance and basis of the names given to each period of Hindi

literature.

3. To be able to understand the features of Adikal, Bhakti kal, Ritikal and Adhunikkal, in context of

socio - cultural and political condition of that period.

4. To be able to understand the reason for the emergence of Adhunikkal in Hindi literature.

 

Paper -1 Name:-Linguistic, Hindi language and Hindi grammar.

On completion of the course, students are able to

1. To be able to understand the concepts of linguistics.

2. To be able to understand the different flows of Hindi language (Rajbhasha, Bolibhasha)

3. To be able to understand the introductory concepts of Hindi grammar.

4. To be able to understand the importance of linguistics.

 

Paper -2  Name:-Linguistic, Hindi language and Hindi grammar.

On completion of the course, students are able to

1. To be able to understand the ancient and mediaeval period languages.

2. To be able to understand the origin and development of Hindi language.

3. To be able to understand the different forms of Khadi Boli (Hindi, Urdu)
